Can Wilmington Locals Pick Up Website Orders?

Website orders can no longer be picked up. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes. However, locals can place orders with me at local markets for pickup at other markets, that hasn’t changed.

Time frame

Pick-up orders take 7-10 days to make. For example, you want to pick it up at Wrightsville Beach (Monday market), but order on Tuesday. You’ll have to wait until the following Monday to pick it up.

Weather cancellations

I no longer have active social media accounts for my art business. It took far too much time away from actually making artwork. I recommend following the various markets and events you’ve seen me at on Facebook or Instagram to find out if the market is canceled because of weather on a specific day. If the weather looks like it’s going to rain most of the day, even if the market goes on, I likely won’t risk my artwork. However, I do try to make it to every single one and will even risk some rain. I’m sorry I can’t be more precise than that, weather is a dynamic and changing thing. We both know how tough it is to accurately forecast weather in this region, so it may turn out to be a decent day even though I canceled because the radar looked horrendous. I want you to be happy with your order, but protecting not only my work from getting wet but also the equipment I rely upon to earn a living are practical priorities for a self-employed artist.

I appreciate your patience and understanding when an event cancellation happens and delays your pickup. Please know that I’m as frustrated or disappointed as you are. Honestly, I’m at least three times more because I want you to be happy and I’m so grateful for your support!
